Let your children watch the Caleb & Sophia videos. Then point out all the ridiculous aspects of these and let them form their own opinions. You'd be surprised how smart children can be, especially when you help them develop their critical thinking skills. -

KM 2005- Society discourages brothers from donating to Tsunami victims $$$$
by Witness 007 insitting in the hall i was shocked when i read this article.
kingdom ministry 2005 nov {after the tsunami and new orleans desaster witnesses sent millions to help brothers in these areas marking their envelopes "for the tsunami victims" etc.
the society realized since there are few witnesses in tsunami ravaged countries this money would be wasted helping muslims.

What's a word that describes the way Witnesses behave as a group?
by paul from cleveland ini can't recall the word that describes a group that keeps to itself like the witnesses do.
i thought it was "insular" but i don't think that's the one i'm looking for after reading the definition.
i remember an elder using the word "clannish" and that has the proper definition but it reminds me of a group of elves.

The WTBTS' Webmaster Caught In Another Lie!
by JW GoneBad inwt's i. t. personnel have no shame putting this content into their website.
in the 'frequently asked questions about jehovah's witnesses' section of their website the following appears: .
how do you know how many are actively witnessing?.

COBE: "Brother Caleb, are you sure you didn't talk about Jehovah for at least 15 minutes last month? While you think about that, I'm going to pencil you in for 15 minutes. If that's not right, just give me a call later, OK?"
(yes... this actually happened... several times during 2009)

A JW experience
by Saintbertholdt inthis is a quick experience i have recently had and i have two questions at the end.. a couple of weeks ago, the dogs were barking at the gate on saturday morning and wouldn't you know it, it was some witnesses.
there was a father with his lovely wife and their young daughter.
the father did all the talking as mother and daughter just dutifully smiled and watched.

You basically ruined the presentation he prepared by going off script (you know... the delusional script they learn at the King Dumb Hall). Once that happens, they usually have no other recourse but to hand over the rags and run. -

Volunteer workers pushed to renounce to their social rights
by sp74bb insurprisingly in spain, a large quantity of bethel volunteers (nice to words to say workers) have received their letter telling they are not anymore required.
in this country, government obliged bethel to give social rights such as basic social security (doctors, etc..) to the volunteers as they understand that it is a business relationship.. all of them have been pushed to sign a letter stating they renounce to their work and then go outside bethel with not a single right (unemployment, etc...).
it is really unfortunately but silly from bethel office to arrange it this way.

Letter from Spanish Branch regarding Governing Body's decision
by Lost-In-Translation inthe spanish branch office sent a letter to all congregations in spain explaining the governing body's decision to stop all printing, storing and shipping of literature in spain.
the spanish government recently ruled that all bethalites are entitled to a pension after having worked at bethel for many years.
the ruling of the government sent the governing body scrambling.
